Become a Member of the Romania-Qatar Business Council
If you are thinking of developing a new business or investment partnership in Qatar, or if you already have a business with a Qatari company, it would behoove you to consider joining the Romania-Qatar Business Council.
Membership is available to any person or any company (including corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, associations, proprietorships or other organizations) that can contribute to RQBC because of their background, experience, resources, or abilities and who have obtained at least two recommendations from existing Founding and/or Participating members and who, furthermore, receive approval from the Board of Directors.

Application For Membership
A company or person will be considered for the RQBC membership only if an application and letters of recommendation are submitted to the Board of Directors in accordance with details provided in our communication.

Types of Membership
The RQBC designates the following three categories of membership:
Founding Members
- KBF Trading & Contracting Co. (Qatar)
- Transfer Rapid Electronic SRL (Romania)
- Advahoo SRL (Romania)
- Interactivision SRL (Romania)
- TransferNow Technology W. L. L. (Qatar)
- Gulf Investment Advisory SRL (Romania)
Participating Members
Each Participating Member can participate in the activities of the RQBC through his/her designated representative, or in the absence or unavailability of the designated representative, an alternative member, both of whom are indicated on the Council’s application for membership, subject, however, to replacement from time to time at the Participating Member’s sole discretion.
Each Participating Member who pays his/her annual membership fee and is otherwise a member in good standing with RQBC has the following benefits:

- entitled to nominate a candidate for election as a director to the Board of Directors at the general meeting of the Council;
- entitled to attend and participate in the meetings of the Council and in any other committee meetings, if applicable;
- receives all communication from the Council;
- enjoys such other privileges, as are specifically granted by the Council from time to time.
Associate Members
This category of members consists of persons or companies (including, but not limited to associations, foundations, governmental entities, non-governmental organizations) who the Board of Directors, in its sole discretion, considers can contribute to the RQBC because of their background, experience, resources, or abilities. Associate Members are not required to pay the annual membership fee.
Each Associate Member can participate in the activities of the Council through his/her designated representative, or in the absence of the designated representative, an alternative member, both of whom are indicated on the Council’s application for membership, subject, however, to replacement from time to time at the Council’s sole discretion. The Board of Directors may decide, at its sole discretion, to invite an Associate Member to the Council meeting.
